This chanting of Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare is directly enacted from the spiritual platform, surpassing all lower states of consciousness-namely sensual, mental and intellectual. There is no need of understanding the language of the mantra, nor is there any need of mental speculation nor any intellectual adjustment for chanting this maha-mantra. It springs automatically from the spiritual platform, and as such, anyone can take part in this transcendental sound vibration, without any previous qualification, and dance in ecstasy. We have seen it practically. Even a child can take part in the chanting, or even a dog can take part in it.

What does this mean? I don't understand the statement - enacted from the

something special, nor do I understand what you mean by spiritual
platform. Where is this and how does it work? I don't think I have a
spiritual platform!

Very nice question steve, as we mentioned previously, quantum physics is talking about different levels of existence, amongst other things. They also discuss that consciousness is an eternal principle that underlies all dimensions.
ReplyDeleteWhat we call a spiritual platform is the level or dimension of pure consciousness. It is with this dimension that we most perfectly resonate, yet due to the desire to experience other dimensions we are here. To facilitate our desires in these realms of temporary manifestation, which are constantly changing, we must adopt a suitable interface, being our mind and body. Try as much as we can to find our place in this material dimension, still our deepest level of consciousness does not find satisfaction because it is a foreign place. Everything around us is dead matter, only chemicals, atoms etc, but without consciousness. This computer has no consciousness, this table, chair, room, air, they are also without consciousness. However, the spiritual platform is pure consciousness. There is just as much variety there as here as this material platform is only a reflection of its original template. Everything on the spiritual platform is fully conscious and in complete harmony. Everything is moving and acting in coordination with the original reservoir of all consciousness, Krishna. As we are individual conscious persons here, so there we are also. Only on that platform we resonate with our fountainhead, Krishna, as a part resonate with the whole.
So, just as one may connect and receice knowledge from a distant place by radio signal, similarly this chanting Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare is such a signal. This chanting is a direct manifestation from that spiritual platform and as such it is fully conscious. This chanting is not a product of this material world, although one may chant a material replica, meaning that unless one follows the guidelines of lifestyle and regulative practice, then he will not gain access into the pure vibration. This pure vibration is fully conscious and being absolute it is non different from Krishna. Therefore only by the grace of Krishna can one truly access his names, which are in themeselves very magnanimous and approachable.
Whilst we are under the grip of the material illusion, believing that we are these temporary bodies, then we can never understand the wonders of this spiritual dimension. Neither can it be understood with our mind and intellect as these too are subordinate to the lesser material energy of this material platform. A frog in a well can try to understand the Pacific through comparison, but will never come close. Only through connection with persons who are fully awake to this reality can we stand a chance to also perceive this truth. Only then can we properly utilize the resources of this beautiful world to enhance our understanding of and connection with our original home of pure consciousness.
Seems like you should try chanting alittle, if you like. But it requires fully absorbing oneself with open mind ready to experience whatever is offered. This is real science, just we are the experiment as well as the observer. One just has to chant clearly and absorb the mind in the vibration. Extended period allows for deeper absorption.
